Do you shoot wedding film outside of North East UK?

Absolutely! We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne and largely cover weddings locally in Northumberland, Durham, Darlington and York. However, we have travelled to film weddings all over the UK - Edinburgh, Manchester and the Lake District are a few places we have filmed weddings to date. Let us know the details of your wedding, location and venue and we will figure something out if available. 

What is your shooting style?

Our approach to documenting a wedding is to be discreet and minimal. We want to respect the natural flow of your wedding day for you and your guests. We use small silent cameras and minimal equipment so it’s less intrusive and we can move around easily to capture all those candid moments. Generally, the goal is for no one to know they are being filmed. We feel this approach provides the most natural and emotive footage for you to look back on for years to come.

Do we need to meet up to discuss further details? Do you meet couples before the wedding? 

Absolutely, we can. We tend to leave it up-to the couple to decide. Some people like to grab a coffee and meet in person (those local), others like to meet online. Many are just happy with email contact and to meet on the day. As our to approach to videography is much more laid back to photography a meeting or pre shoot is less important. However, if you do want a pre shoot let us know and we can work something out. We are happy with whatever works best for you and love to meet couples to chat about their plans. 

When we will receive the films?

The process of editing a wedding film is very time consuming and we like to ensure our films are all different and unique to the couple. We aim to have films back to you within 8 weeks. Sometimes this can be up-to 12 weeks in peak season. Teaser films will be delivered within two weeks of your wedding and give a sneak peek of the film for those that cannot wait. This is very much dependent on the volume of weddings we have at the time. Once you are happy with your films we would post your usb, if applicable. Having a little break between your wedding and receiving your film keeps the anticipation going and makes it more exciting watching it back and reliving all those precious moments when you said I do! 

When should we consider a second videographer? 

Choosing to have a second videographer is a great way to get more footage of your day. We tend to recommend a second videographer if you are planing a really large wedding or when you would like both sets of preparations filmed but are getting ready at different locations. 

We are camera shy….

Please try not to worry too much. The style we adopt to shoot your wedding lends itself well to people who are shy. We try to blend into the background as much as possible to allow you to enjoy your day with very minimal direction if this is needed at all. We have a lot less interaction and direction with couples in comparison to their photographers. We look for movement and key moments to film rather than getting a list of shots. We accompany your photographer for couples shot and work together to reduce the amount of time you are away from your guests. The most we tend to ask couples to do it kiss, hold hands, walk together etc. 

Do you film group shots?

Generally, we don’t film group photos with the photographer. We may dip and and out but that time we tend to mingle with your guests and capture candid moments. If getting these shots and including them in your film is important please make us aware so we plan it into our filming.

Great!  complete our contact us form as a first step, we will then contact you via email and discuss further details of your wedding. We will send you a booking form which includes all the information needed to confirm your date with us. A booking fee of 20% will secure your date. If there are two enquiries for the same date then the first one to pay the deposit and send the booking form will get priority. 

Do you offer drone footage? 

We have purchased a drone and plan to offer drone content as standard from 2024!
